Patch Notes/28 July 2024

6 versions released at 06:09 PM, 06:20 PM, 06:37 PM, 06:57 PM, 07:02 PM and 11:24 PM EDT.

General additions and changes:

  • Ally Phinisher lines now appear in smaller text than enemy ones.
    • Enemy Phinishers now produce louder SFX.
    • Character portraits at the top of the screen will now glow when a Phighter has their Phinisher ready.
  • Many melee moves no longer require LoS-checks.
    • Adjusted some of the melee moves that have bigger hitboxes to still require LoS-checks.


Ban Hammer:

  • BUG FIX: Horns should no longer lose their glow VFX if a Judgement charge resets.
  • Judgement
    • No longer requires a LoS-check to execute a target.
    • Increased strength of pull.
    • Increased hitbox for second hammer swing from 10 studs to 15 studs.


Biograft:

  • Slash Storm
    • The speed of the visual projectile is no longer affected by FPS.
    • Blade Storm will now activate if any part of it hits an enemy rather than only the center and will move to the enemy's position (only terrain will activate it if it's hit at its center).
  • Blink
    • BUG FIX: Fixed infinite cast bug (hopefully).


Medkit:

  • Curing Cartridge
    • Now plays a headshot SFX when headshotting allies.
    • Ignores allied players at full health.
  • Fan the Hammer
    • Ignores allied players at full health.
  • Divine Resurrection
    • Divine Ressurection will now detect dead allies in range depending on where they died rather than where their body currently is.

Rocket:

Scythe:

  • BUG FIX: Rifle mode will no longer randomly stop working.
  • Eye on the Target
    • Will no longer lock onto spectator players.

Shuriken:


Skateboard:

  • BUG FIX: Fixed Skateboard's onboard animation not ending if the player looses all speed.
  • When Skateboard is forced offboard, he will now play his on-to-off Board swing animation (The same animation that plays when tapping SWITCH!!.
  • Skateboard's speedometer will no longer sometimes show -0.


Slingshot:

  • Quick Feet
    • BUG FIX: Fixed double jump not working properly.
    • Slingshot now spawns with double jump and hover ready.
  • Sling Shot
    • The charge needed for Sling Shot is now determined when Slingshot starts charging rather than being able to update in the middle of a charge.

Sword:


Vine Staff:

  • Root of the Oak
    • Exploding sprouts by Root of the Oak now add up damage properly.
