Sci-Fi Sword
Sci-Fi Sword is an unlockable skin for Sword. It can be obtained by speaking to its NPC in the room connected to the bridge of the blue brick building next to the Rat Zone building for 40,000 Bux.
Sci-Fi Sword was released on 15 April 2022, at the beginning of the [[Fried vs. Scrambled] Phestival. He was intended to be the reward for Team Red in the Red vs. Blue Phestival. Sci-Fi Sword depicts Sword in a more futuristic set of armor fit with neon decorations on his shoulder, leg and arm, a pair of shades over his eyes, a horn piercing, a glowing metal "mohawk" and a glowing sword.
When using unpowered Dolphin Slash, is the original sound with an added electrical sparking sound to it. When using unpowered Lunge, like unpowered Dolphin Slash, is the original sound with the added electrical sparking sound. Everything else is unchanged.
Marshmallow Sword
Marshmallow Sword is an unlockable skin for Sword. It can be obtained by speaking to its NPC in the third floor of the Green Boggio apartment building for 40,000 Bux.
Marshmallow Sword was released on 30 August 2022, at the end of the Vanilla vs. Chocolate Phestival as a reward for the winning team, and depicts Sword as a giant melting marshmallow version of himself. His "armor" is replaced by large chunks of melted marshmallow covering his body, along with a glowing metal "mohawk" protruding out of his head. His sword design remains unchanged. The skin alters Sword's dialogue to his normal speech, but with a random mix of uppercase and lowercase letters.
When using Slash, the sound effect that plays is a squishing sound, as if someone was squishing a wet marshmallow. When using unpowered Blade Beam, the sound of a spit is played before the original sound effect follows. When using unpowered Dolphin Slash, the original sound plays, followed by a gag at the end. When using empowered Lunge, the sound of the unpowered Lunge will play, but at a higher pitch. All effects are now a very light blue. Everything else is unchanged.
Follower Sword
Follower Sword is an unlockable skin for Sword. It can be obtained by speaking to its NPC behind the big television located nearest to the orange trailer, towards the direction of the Rat Zone for 60,000 Bux.
Follower Sword was released on 24 July 2023, at the end of the Ice Cream vs. Popsicle Phestival as a reward for the winning team, and depicts Sword in an armor set inspired by Illumina. This skin completely overhauls Sword's model, giving him more detailed full-body armor with glowing segments, two small wings protruding from his back, a runic ring around Sword's right horn as well as a sword with runic symbols decorating the blade.
When using Slash the slashes are serrated and a light purple. The sound that plays is a higher pitch sound of the original, giving it a more angelic feel. When using unpowered Blade Beam is also a light purple with a higher pitched sound than the original. The slash has serrated edges. When using unpowered Dolphin Slash a sound similar to glass shattering is played in an echoey effect. The effects are a light purple. When using unpowered and empowered Lunge a glass shattering sort of sound is played. When using All-Mighty Axle Arc the animation displays Sword hovering the sword in the air as a second set of larger, light purple wings are displayed behind his original ones. He says "Prepare thyself!" and takes his light-purple-tinted sword and throws it as a swirling trail of light-purple lags behind it. The audio that plays is accompanied by angelic voices that play in the background of his original Phinisher. Everything else is unchanged.
Sunburst Sword
Sunburst Sword is an unlockable skin for Sword. It is currently unobtainable.
Sunburst Sword was released on 22 July 2024, accompanied by the end of the Decoy Deploy Phrenzy. It was the reward for players who scored in the top 5% or reached an overall score of 10,000.
When using Slash, it plays the original sound effect, just deeper. The slashes now have three elongated diamonds in them. When using unpowered Blade Beam, the sound of muffled burning plays as the slash travels. The effect has the same elongated diamonds etched into the design. When using unpowered Dolphin Slash, has a fiery whoosh accompanying the original sound as the diamonds return once again to appear in the slashes. When using unpowered Lunge, the original sound plays with a burning sound accompanying it. The ring around the dash now has long dashes embedded into it. When using empowered Blade Beam, the sound of a small fire plays and the slash has serrated edges. When using empowered Dolphin Slash, the sound that plays is the original sound with burning sounds alongside it. When using empowered Lunge, the sound is deeper in pitch and the ring has long dashes embedded in them, similar to the unpowered version. When using All-Mighty Axle Arc, the sound that plays once the sword explodes is similar to a burst of flames. All effects are now a dark red. Everything else is unchanged.
