Phestivals are reoccurring in-game events that pit two teams representing a topic preference against each other. In these events, players join a team and contribute to categories of statistics in order to help their team win, ending with the winning team being announced and an exclusive skin being awarded to its members. During Phestivals, major content updates are released, such as a new Phighter, new skins, maps, songs, etc. Phestivals are usually scheduled to take place alongside holidays and last for about 7 days.
Team randomization is not determined on Phestival teams during Phestivals and will remain randomized. Players will individually contribute to the statistics.
Scoring
The winning team of a Phestival is determined by categories of statistics that players contribute to throughout its duration. Whichever team wins the most categories is the winner of its Phestival. The categories are as follows:
Category | Calculated with |
---|---|
Popularity | # of players chosen / # of total players |
Winrate (Open) | # of games won / # of games played (Open servers) |
Winrate (Pro) | # of games won / # of games played (Pro servers) |
K/D ratio (Open) | # of team kills / # of team deaths (Open servers) |
K/D ratio (Pro) | # of team kills / # of team deaths (Pro servers) |
Secret category | N/A |
- As of Phestival 10, popularity is no longer a category.
- Because of the way winrate is calculated, the sum of both team's winrates will not equal 100%. However, this is to keep teams randomized during gameplay rather than divide them into the two Phestival teams.
For Phestivals 1-4, the winner was decided using a total score calculated with (popularity + (winrate * 4)) / 5. This meant that a team's popularity only contributed to 1/5 of their score, while winrate contributed to 4/5 of it.
For Phestivals 5 and onward, the K/D ratio category was added and the winner is decided by which team won the most categories instead of a total score.
For Phestivals 8 and onward, Pro servers were introduced that add 2 categories of Pro winrate and Pro K/D ratio.
For Phestivals 10 and onward, the popularity category was removed and replaced with a secret random category that is unique for every Phestival, with it only being revealed once the results are announced. This random category can include stats such as average healing, damage, shutdowns, etc.
Ranks
For the duration of a Phestival, the player will earn XP that contributes to a secondary "Phestival Rank" bar, with each rank requiring 1250 XP. Contrary to regular XP, Phestival XP is rewarded only based on whether a player wins or loses - awarding 250 XP for a win and 100 XP for a loss.
Once the bar is filled, the player will obtain a new Phestival rank. Upon choosing a Phestival team, the player will receive a title that displays their rank for that team (e.g., Relax Fan). The ranks are as follows:
# | Rank | Total XP |
---|---|---|
1. | Fan | 0 XP |
2. | Member | 1250 XP |
3. | Enjoyer | 2500 XP |
4. | Lover | 3750 XP |

23. | Celestial | 27500 XP |
24. | Immortal | 28750 XP |
30000 XP and onwards awards the + ranks. |
- Upon obtaining a new rank after Immortal, the player's rank will loop back to the start with a plus (+) suffixed to it (e.g., the next rank from Immortal would be Fan+).
- There is no limit to how many plus a player can obtain.
- The skin rewarded to the winners of a Phestival will only be given players with a rank of Member or higher.
- At the end of a Phestival, players will recieve 1000 Bux for each rank obtained, and members of the winning team will receive the Phestival Winner title.

Phestival 1: Red vs. Blue
Red vs. Blue was the first Phestival in PHIGHTING!, occurring from 19 February 2022 to 20 February 2022. This Phestival released with the first five Phighters in the game - Sword, Rocket, Slingshot, Medkit, and Boombox. There was one skin revealed, the intended winning skin for Team Red, Sci-fi Sword. However, Sci-fi Sword was granted to all players at the start of Fried vs. Scrambled who participated in the Phestival for free due to difficulties with data. In addition, there were four maps that could be played, being Doomspire, Protect Telamon, Rocket Arena, and SFOTH.
There were three categories for Red vs. Blue: popularity, winrate, and total. Team Red ended up winning the Phestival in the end, securing the two categories of popularity and total categories while Team Blue only won winrate.
Phestival 2: Fried vs. Scrambled
Fried vs. Scrambled was PHIGHTING!'s second Phestival, happening on 15 April 2022 to 18 April 2022. This Phestival added one new Phighter, Skateboard. In addition, this Phestival saw the introduction of Flipside, consisting of Valk and Dom. From this Phestival onwards, the idol duo would host Phestivals. There was three skins added during the Phestival, being PJ Rocket, Catshot, and Medcarrot. The winner skin for Team Fried was Hoverboard, however, it was gifted to Team Fried players upon joining the game in the next Phestival. Eight maps were added to the game during the Phestival: Banland, DODGEBALL!, Fractured Space, King of the Hill, ROBLOX Mall, ROBLOX Museum, The Iron Cafe, and Teapots of Doom. This Phestival introduced a new currency, eggs, that could be obtained by killing enemies. Deceased opponents would drop eggs at their location, and the Phestival's skins could be obtained by collecting 50, 100, and 150 eggs in total.
Fried vs. Scrambled continued using the same three categories that Red vs. Blue used. While the numbers were close, Team Fried ended up winning all three categories over Team Scrambled.
Phestival 3: Vanilla vs. Chocolate
Vanilla vs. Chocolate was the third Phestival in PHIGHTING!, occuring between 26 August 2022 and 30 August 2022. There were two new Phighters released during this Phestival: Biograft and Hyperlaser. The only skin introduced during the Phestival was Marshmallow Sword, which was the win reward for Team Chocolate. During the Phestival, three maps were released - Nuke The Whales, Rob The ROBLOX Bank, and Train Demolition. DODGEBALL! and ROBLOX Mall were redecorated with summer themed variants. Four songs released at the start of the Phestival, being "HIGH TIME PHIGHT!" "HIGH TIME PHIGHT!", "PANDEMONIUM CODA", "OVERTIME?!", and "OOF-Y GROOVES".
Vanilla vs. Chocolate utilized the same popularity, winrate, and total categories as past Phestivals. Each day, the winner of each category was released. Team Vanilla dominated the Winrate categories, yet fell flat in popularity and total, but they were in the lead for one day. In a close game, Team Chocolate won the Phestival, winning the popularity and total categories, while Vanilla only won the winrate category.
Phestival 4: Sun vs. Moon
Sun vs. Moon was the fourth Phestival in PHIGHTING! and ran between 2 September 2022 to 6 September 2022. This Phestival had no new maps or Phighters, but had four skins in total, which included Floatie Biograft, Cooler Boombox, Pirate Medkit, and the winning reward for Team Moon, Buster Rocket. During Sun vs. Moon, there was a similar currency collection system to Fried vs. Scrambled where killing enemies dropped either Sun or Moon essence. Killing enemies as Sword, Skateboard, Rocket, or Medkit would drop Sun Essence, while playing Biograft, Hyperlaser, Slingshot, or Boombox would drop Moon Essence. Sun and Moon Essence could have been used to purchase skins during the Sun vs. Moon Phestival, and were converted to Bux afterwards.
Sun vs. Moon used a unique point system. While it utilized the same popularity, winrate, and total categories, the points were displayed out of 10,000 rather than as a percentage. Throughout the Phestival, Team Moon dominated the three categories, winning all categories in a sweep over Team Sun.
Phestival 5: Bat vs. Rat
Bat vs. Rat was PHIGHTING!'s fifth Phestival that took place between 28 October 2022 and 1 November 2022. The ninth Phighter was added to the game, Subspace. Four skins were added to the game: Biocarved, Witchlaser, Exorcist Subspace, and Sianachkit, the reward for Team Bat. Three new maps were introduced to the game, being BOGIO Skatepark, Space Knights, and Underground War, while two maps were reworked, Banland and SFOTH. In addition, three new songs were added to the game - "ALLEGRO EXPRESSO", "THE ULTIMATE STRATEGY", and "PHOTON PHASER". A remake of PANDEMONIUM CODA was also added.
Bat vs. Raw saw a minor change to the Phestival scoring system. Instead of the third category being based on total, it was now the Kills/Deaths (K/D) ratio of a team. In another close Phestival, Team Bat ended up winning the Phestival by clinching both Popularity and K/D categories, while Team Rat only won Winrate.
Phestival 6: Rave vs. Relax
Rave vs. Relax was the sixth Phestival in PHIGHTING! that occured from 31 December 2022 to 5 January 2023. During the Phestival, the tenth Phighter was added to the game, Katana. Four new skins were introduced during the Phestival, being Cozyshot, Kramptana, Snowboard, and the award for Team Relax, Seraphlaser. One map was reworked during the Phestival, DODGEBALL!, and Fractured Space was temporarily brought back for the duration of the Phestival. Rave vs. Relax introduced Phestival ranks, where a player can receive a fixed amount of XP by winning or losing. Every 1250 XP, the player will be able to go up a rank. 1000 bux was awarded for every rank they obtained.
Rave vs. Relax's winner was based on the popularity, winrate, and K/D ratio, the same as Bat vs. Rat. Team Relax ended up winning the Phestival with a higher popularity and winrate, while Team Rave only won K/D ratio. While the winrate and K/D ratio categories were close, Team Relax had a much higher percentage of players than Team Rave, ultimately securing them the victory.
Phestival 7: Violets vs. Roses
Violets vs. Roses was the seventh Phestival in PHIGHTING!, occurring between 20 April 2023 to 29 April 2023. No new Phighters were released during the run-time of the Phestival, however, four new skins for Phighters released, being Eggsquerade Boombox, Cutiespace, Rainbox, and Beta Biograft, the win reward for Team Roses. Two new maps were added to the game, Darkage Cliffs and Chaos Canyon. Three existing maps received reworks: BOGIO Skatepark, Space Knights, and ROBLOX Mall. Two songs were added to the game during the Phestival - "DEVIL'S PANDEMONIUM" and "SENSORY OVERLOAD". Similarly to the Fried vs. Scrambled Phestivals, eggs were added as a currency that could be used to purchase skins. Eggs were obtained by winning rounds. After the Phestival had concluded, eggs could be traded for 75 Vux per egg.
Violets vs. Roses saw a slight overhaul to the Phestival scoring system. There was now five categories, and winrate had been split up into total winrate, Annihilate winrate, and Conquer winrate. Popularity and K/D ratio remained categories. Team Roses was one off of a complete sweep of Team Violets, as Team Violets managed to win K/D ratio, while Team Roses won all other categories.
Phestival 8: Ice Cream vs. Popsicle
Ice Cream vs. Popsicle occurred from 15 July 2023 to 24 July 2023. This Phestival released with the 12th Phighter, Vine Staff. Three skins were released during the Ice Cream vs Popsicle Phestival: Shurifin, 7MK0, and the winner skin for Team Ice Cream, Follower Sword. Boomball was temporarily added for the duration of the Phestival, and one map, Space Knights, was reworked. Four new songs were added during the Phestival, being "TAKE YOUR TIME", "TTYL", "TURBULENCE", and "STRIKE OF LUCK". A new kind of Server was added, Pro servers, exclusive to players that are or above level 100.
This Phestival introduced a minor rework to the scoring system. Rather than being based on Annihilate and Conquer winrates, it is now seperated between Open and Pro servers, along with the addition of the K/D category. The Mid-Phestival statistics neglected to show the winrate and K/D for Pro servers, only showing Popularity and Open servers' winrate and K/D. In the end, Team Ice Creams won with three points, while Popsicle got two points.
Phestival 9: Possessed vs. Bitten
Possessed vs. Bitten is the ninth Phestival that occurred from 29 October 2023 to 7 November 2023. It released with the new Phighter, Ban Hammer. During this Phestival, there were seven skins released, being Astrobox, Cursedshot Cybertana, Egobworder, Frankenhammer, and the reward for Team Possessed, Jesterspace. Two new maps were introduced during the Phestival, ROBLOX Bowling Alley and ROBLOX Arcade, while Rob The ROBLOX Bank received a rework. Four maps were temporarily readded during the Phestival: Boomball, Fractured Space, SFOTH Revived, and Teapots of Doom. "TIX BLASTERZ", "TEN-PIN TOSS-UP", and "FEEL THE BURN" were added during the Phestival. Finally, one Special round was added during Possessed vs. Bitten, Ghostwalker's special round.
Possessed vs. Bitten had the same five categories as Ice Cream vs. Popsicle. Mid-Phestival results withheld the results for Pro servers, only showing Popularity and Open servers' winrate and K/D. In the end, Possessed won, only losing the Winrate (Opens) category.
Phestival 10: Dove vs. Crow
Dove vs. Crow is the tenth Phestival that occurred from 24 February 2024 to 3 March 2024. It introduced a feature where players can earn Endorsements from others in the PHIGHT! Lobby after a round has completed. Valk and Dom received new outfits related to their teams, and a new Phighter, Scythe, was introduced with this Phestival, being the 14th one added to the game. Four skins were added during the Phestival, being Cocoagraft, Shuri-Lóng, Yulaser and the reward for Team Crow, Vine Splash. The Bread Factory was remastered during the Phestival, and four other maps were reworked - Banland, Darkage Cliffs, Doomspire, and Shooting Teapot Observatory, formerly known as Teapots of Doom.
Starting from this Phestival forward, the Popularity category was retired. For the Dove vs. Crow Phestival, it was replaced with a secret category, which was revealed at the end of the Phestival, being the average healing per team. Ultimately, Team Crow won over Team Dove with 3 points, while Team Dove had 2 points.
Phestival 11: Pirates vs. Mermaids
Pirates vs. Mermaids is the eleventh Phestival. The Phestival saw the release of Phighter 15, Coil, on 8 September 2024. It lasted until 16 September 2024. The skins released during the Phestival were Captain Rocket, Dutchman Scythe, Sunken Ban Hammer, and the reward for Team Pirates was the Coil 2.0 skin. It added the maps ROBLOX City and Raven Rock, and reworked DODGEBALL!, Rocket Arena, and Nuke The Whales. One new song, "GROOVAHOLIC", was released during this Phestival.
This Phestival saw a different scoring system from the last. At the midway point of the Phestival, each team received 10 points for every category won. The data for the four categories were then reset for the latter half of the Phestival. After the Phestival ended, the categories were recounted, with each category now worth 20 points instead of 10. The Mid-Phestival scoring saw Team Pirates with 40 points, winning every category. At the end of the Phestival, each team won 2 categories each. This put Team Pirates at 80 points and Team Mermaids at 40 points, resulting in a Team Pirates victory.
Trivia
