Phestivals are reoccuring in game events that puts two teams against each other.

Players must choose between two teams, winning matches grants their team a point.

Team randomization is not determined on Phestival teams during Phestivals and remain randomized. If there 4 team A players and 2 team B players are on one team and win, 4 points will go to team A and 2 points will go to team B.

Phestivals usually come alongside events such as holidays.

During Phestivals, a player's color in the lobby will be the color of the team they chose.

The color a player gets during a match is not dependant on the team they chose, thus they may end up on the team that has the opposite team's color, but their win will still go to their own team.

Phestival Scoring

The very first Phestival, Red vs Blue, used a different way to calculate winrate, thus its percentages equal 100% compared to other Phestivals

A team's popularity is calculated by #players chosen / #total players

A team's winrate is calculated by #games won / #games played

Because of the way the winrate is calculated, the sum of both team's winrate will not be 100. However, this is to keep teams randomized during gameplay rather than divide them into the two teams.

The total score is then calculated with popularity + (winrate * 4) / 5

This means that a team's popularity only makes up for 1/5 of their score, while winrate makes up for 4/5 of it.
