From PHIGHTING! Wiki

Skins are cosmetics that change a Phighter's physical appearance, ability effects, sounds, animations and dialogue. Skins are obtainable through various ways, given for free, being on the winning team in Phestivals, the top percentage of Phrenzies, or by finding an NPC in Crossroads who will trade you the skin for Bux.

In lore, many of the skins represent the Phighter from an alternate universe. Skins are not canon to the lore of PHIGHTING!, with the exception of Beta Biograft and Heretic Katana.

Trivia

  • Catshot, Buster Rocket, and 7MK0 are all based on or made for the developers of the game, representing Soda, Pix, and 7GB0 respectively.
  • All of Sword’s skins are Phestival or Phrenzy rewards.
  • The Sianachkit NPC is the only one that kills you if you can't, or won't, purchase the skin.
  • The Frankenhammer NPC is the only one whose dialogue changes if you are wearing their respective skin.
  • When Follower Sword is purchased, feathered wings in the equipped character’s color will sprout from the player's back, before fading away.
  • Follower Sword, Catshot, Marshmallow Sword, and Astrobox are the only skins that have dialogue changes.
    • Of these, only Marshmallow Sword and Astrobox change non-Phinisher lines.
  • Bivekit was released in collaboration with the Roblox game Regretevator, and is based off one of the game's characters, that being Bive.
    • Bivekit is the only skin with a price that is not a multiple of 1000 or 500.
  • All skins have a part of the characters name in it, including 7MK0, where "7GB0" is instead changed to "7MK0".
  • To buy every purchasable skin in the game, it would cost the player exactly 1,598,361 Bux.
