==Gameplay==
Doomspire consists of a large, open airport runway situated below four large towers serving as both teams’ spawns. In order to access the rest of the map players must jump onto the runway below, commonly from their spawn tower’s respective bridge segment. Additionally, the buildings bordering the map on both sides can be used as long-range vantage points. Doomspire’s Conquer zone is positioned in the center of the runway, with raised ramps and other airport runway-related obstacles providing cover on either side of the point. Underneath the Conquer zone is a passageway providing an alternative route to the other side of the runway. Both ends of the runway lead to an open sea which serves as a stage boundary.


Doomspire’s main obstacle is a large plane that will periodically swoop through or land on the central runway, instantly killing any players it makes contact with while moving. These events are preceded by an orange flash encompassing the runway at set intervals throughout the round, with a dialogue cue of either “THE PLANE IS COMING!” or “THE PLANE IS LANDING!” signaling the plane’s swooping through or landing on the Conquer zone respectively. Once landed, the plane temporarily acts as an obstacle, obstructing movement and visibility in the zone. Furthermore, teleporters at the base of each tower allow for instantly returning to the elevated spawn area, proving useful for disengaging or repositioning.

Doomspire is a map consisting of the 4 classic Doomspire towers, along and an airline runway below. The map also has stage hazards such as the plane and the sea, and other mechanics not yet implemented. Doomspire's main area is that of a runway of which the plane uses to land or to do a hit and run, and two side paths perpendicular to the runaway to phight along and to avoid the plane. There is also an area under the middle of the runway too.

"THE PLANE IS COMING!" means the plane fly across the runway, killing anyone that makes contact with it.
Doomspire takes place in the central runway of an airport owned by “Spireline Airlines”, situated on a small island dotted with tropical palm trees. Each of the classic Doomspire towers act as air traffic control buildings, with players’ spawns positioned on bridges far above the runway and buildings below. These towers are colored red and blue by default, though variants of Doomspire during Phestivals will color the towers in the Phestival’s team colors instead.


The area of the runway where the Conquer zone is located consists of glass panes bearing the Spireline Airlines logo, allowing for vision of the underground passageway. On either side of the runway are two Spireline Airlines buildings, one with an inaccessible entrance. Obstacles differ on each side of the map, the area outside of the entrance occupied by various airport runway vehicles and the opposite side holding a large ramp providing both high ground and cover underneath. Grey stair trucks across the map also provide cover and opportunities for creative terrain usage.
"THE PLANE IS LANDING!" means the plane will land in the middle of the runway, becoming an obstacle for X seconds while killing anyone in its path as it comes to a stop.
