Ping system revert [8.1.2024/9.1.2024]
Hello and good midnight-..? Erm anyways, fellow Ban Hammer enjoyer, I am challenging the edit revert as I have more information on the F12 trigger of the 'P!' ping.

These were tested on an Acer Aspire XC-705 and the HP laptop. Both have the same triggers. No buttons have been remapped.
I decided to only mention the ERGO K860 as model clutter would be impractical and clunky.

- Hi!
- I wasn't able to reproduce this on my M1 Macbook, and another wiki admin wasn't able to reproduce it on their Macbook nor their Windows PC. I'm not really sure what the difference would be, but unless we can confirm its an intentional keybind, we can't really include it. Especially as logically, it doesn't really make a lot of sense. PH! doesn't have any other Fn keybinds as far as I'm aware (since they're reserved mostly for ROBLOX itself, i.e the console) and there already exists a keybind for the Phinisher ping. Not just that, but F12 is used as part of the keybind on Windows for ROBLOX to start recording gameplay. (Sometimes its Ctrl + F12 and sometimes its just F12, it varies).
- While checking this again, another wiki staff member commented that some keyboards will, for some reason, map Fn keys to specific alphanumeric keys. For instance, on an older keyboard, when they used to adjust the volume with the Fn keys, it would behave as though they had pressed the C key. This may be happening in your case, but without your exact keyboard it is hard to tell.
- If you have any further information or evidence to back this up I'm happy to hear it, but as far as I can tell, this is not a keybind and is an unintended interaction between your keyboard and the game's current key mappings. Said equipment have FN keys, meaning that F12 on those keyboards have other functionality within Windows (I do not use Mac, therefore anything Mac or Linux is not in my reach.), like the ERGO K860 having F12 as "volume-up", the HP laptop's keyboard is "Airplane mode", Microsoft EK 4000 is a "CTRL+P shortcut", the Amazon Basics keyboard is "Next track"
Triggering the FN key then utilizing F12 on the aforementioned will initiate the Roblox Screen Recording model.
Examine as you may, I'm simply trying to get something across and not trying to "debate" on this.

To be clear, F12 triggers the 'P!' Ping when the FN key is not activated/held down on the listed above.

Ban Hammer rework
Good afternoon, this time around I wanted to seek permission to update Ban Hammer as if I can recall, he no longer has 75H150S, but 150H300S (I think,,) (H = Health, S = Shield)

- Hi!
- Currently we are waiting on aidn to finalize the HP/Shield/Damage changes and provide us the numbers before changing anything - the reason for this is he may or may not suddenly decided to revert the entire +100% update back at any moment and its an inordinate amount of work for us to have to do twice. I have poked him several times but I think he's still working on the numbers. So I've given us the deadline of January 31st that if the update is still in place, even if he doesnt provide the numbers, I will have the staff team go through every number and update it.
- I'm currently deciding whether to put a notice on every Phighter page while we wait for this change, but I've been asked multiple times about it so probably will at this point ^^;; I just got caught up with some other busywork I had to do first.

- Regarding the F12 thing, I don't really have much to add, as far as I can tell the keybind just doesn't exist. I booted up my PC to see what it does for me, and on my desktop (Windows 10 non-OEM, Razr Blackwidow 2013 keyboard), F12 only starts a recording through ROBLOX (not Ctrl+F12, btw, but just F12 on its own). Fn+F12 does nothing and Ctrl+F12 activates both the 'Here' ping and the start recording feature. The only keybind that works for Phinisher is B, for me.
- I've asked in the boggio community Discord for other Windows users to try it out and see if they can get the same result as you. But if it was intentional, it would be possible on my setup, so I am still leaning towards there being some hardware oddness, keymapping you aren't aware of, or possibly some OEM software causing this. I can't add a keybind that only one person can reproduce, unfortunately, haha. ★ @NINJISY | WARDEN OF BANLAND 15:10, 9 January 2025 (EST)

To be fair, I have Logi Options+ software installed on both the Acer and HP desktop and laptop respectively, so maybe that could be triggering ` F12 = 'P!' Ping`, but you said you asked in BOGCOM, right? We'll see by then lol,,, (note: I've been banned from BOGCOM for calling out a rulebreaker and like idek,,,,) If I'm not reachable through MH (here), I got X, DC, neospring, and standard Gmail if needed (you seem rly chill n cool also lol) so there's that,,

Update - 31 Jan, 2025 (Ping system)
Hello again, Sillyvizion!
I have gotten more equipment (laptops) which I have fixed and sold, but as I was checking them out, I tried to run PHIGHING! on them, some were ehh and some were laggy but my point is, I would be in crossroads and whenever I tried to raise the volume using the VOL+ key on the Function keys, it would trigger the same ping that the normal keybind would.
- HP EliteBook 840 G8 (16GB/i7-1185G7/512GB) triggers the "P!" ping by pressing F7
- Apple MacBook Pro (A1286/2012, 8GB/i7-2635QM/500GB) triggers the "P!" ping by pressing F12
- HP EliteBook 840 G7 (8GB/i7-10610U/256GB) triggers the "P!" ping by pressing F7
this seems to happen on all of the VOL+ buttons on all listed equipment.
hope you can narrow it down furhter!
