Bux

Bux is the main currency used in PHIGHTING! Bux is used to purchase skins from NPCs in Crossroads.

Bux can be earned through the following methods:

• Winning a match grants 200 bux
• Losing a match grants 100 bux
• Each kill grants 50 bux
• Each assist grants 25 bux
• Increasing levels grants bux depending on the level obtained.
  • Levels 5, 15, 35, 45, etc. grant 500 bux.
  • Levels 10, 20, 30, 40, 60, etc. grant 1000 bux.
  • Levels 25, 50, 75, 125, 150, etc. grant 2500 bux.
  • Levels 100, 200, 300, 400, 500. etc grant 10000 bux.
  • All other levels grant 250 bux.
• At the end of a Phestival, the player is granted 1000 bux for every Phestival rank they obtained.

If the player wins a Multiplier Match, the amount of bux earned is multiplied depending on the given multiplier match (1.3x for 13x battles and 6.66x for 66.6x battles).

Depending on the total amount of Bux a player has at any time, they can be awarded a title.

Version history

22 January 2023 The double Bux multiplier was removed. The amount of Bux earned on levelling up was changed. The bux reward earned for other levels was increased from 100 bux to 250 bux. The bux reward for levels 5, 15, 35, 45, etc. was increased from 250 bux to 500 bux. The bux reward for levels 10, 20, 30, 40, 60, etc. was increased from 500 bux to 1000 bux. For levels 25, 50, 75, 125, 150, etc. the player now gains 2500 bux. For levels 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, etc. the player now gains 10000 bux. 8 January 2023 From this version until 22 January 2023, all Bux earned is doubled. 3 September 2022 Bux per match win increased from 50 to 200. Bux per match loss increased from 25 to 100. Players now gain 50 bux per kill and 25 bux per assist.
