General additions and changes:

  • Text size on health bars was increased.
  • The vulnerability status effect now uses a visual indicator when a player is above 25% vulnerability, gradually increasing in size until they reach 75% vulnerability.
  • Players can no longer press H in-game to display their abilities.
  • Players can now press H in the Phighter select screen to show abilities.
  • Players can no longer enter the Phighter select screen if they were damaged once in-game.
  • Kill feed changes
    • The icons displayed on the kill feed were changed and now match the actions that occurred between the two players.
    • Killing a player who last killed you now lists the kill as "revenge".
    • Killing a player who is using their Phinisher lists the kill as "shutdown".
    • Double, triple, quad and penta kills will be indicated to the player and the kill feed.
  • Killing all 5 players of a team in a short timespan now displays the "PWNED!" text.
  • The "PWNED!" badge was added to the game.
  • Bounce decay
    • Excessively using map elements that bounce such as trampolines reduces its power.
    • The player gains 2 full power bounces, and any bounce after is reduced by 1/4.
    • The bounce decay disappears after not using a bouncing element after 3 seconds.
  • Jump decay
    • After jumping 4 times, the player's jump height penalty is increased by 10% for each jump.
    • Jump decay wears off after 3 seconds of not jumping.
  • Healing a player at max health no longer grants Phinisher charge.
  • Phinisher was renamed to Phinisher.

  • Charging Blitz
    • All metronome-related effects are moved to Charging Blitz.
    • NEW EFFECTS:
      • Metronome UI changed.
      • Now plays a metronome sound after 0.5 seconds.
  • Pulse Wave
    • Renamed from Pulse.
  • Shielding Amplifier
    • Renamed from Sound Wave.
    • NEW EFFECT: No longer applies additional overshield if it regenerates innate shield by more than 50.
    • Shield increased from 10 + 15 * no. of charges to 15 + 15 * no. of charges.
    • Shield duration reduced from 8 seconds to 6 seconds.
    • Cooldown increased from 5 seconds to 8 seconds.
  • Bass Boost / Beat Drop
    • Renamed from Jump Smash Move.
  • Protecting Overtone
    • Renamed from Forcefield.
