Phighting: the zone

phighting: the zone, commonly referred to as the zone, is a public testing instance of PHIGHTING! used to test upcoming or experimental patches and changes. The zone was created on 30 October 2022.

Overview

In the zone, players are only able to access the PHIGHT! Lobby and are unable to enter Crossroads at any point. Due to this, collectables such as Skins are normally unattainable. All player experience and progress is separate to the main game, and achievements such as Badges do not transfer over to PHIGHTING!.

Updates are pushed to the zone at unspecified intervals, and usually consist of experimental or contentious changes that need to be tried out before being implemented into the main game. Changes are often replaced and changed in rapid succession as boggio tweaks and fine-tunes new features and mechanics.

Trivia

• Private servers, while being able to be made, do not initialize correctly in the zone and will simply warp players to a baseplate where they are unable to move around.
• Attemping to return to Crossroads via Zuka from the PHIGHT! Lobby will display a teleportation error message and softlock the player on a black screen.
