A bonus round is a gameplay mechanic where a match will randomly have an effect applied to all players for the duration of the game. These effects can vary from being positive, negative, to changing gameplay completely.

Overview

There are five available bonus rounds. Only one bonus round can be active at a time. Bonus rounds have a 5% chance of appearing in open servers only.

• 25% increased passive Phinisher charge rate
• 25% Haste
• 25% increased damage
• Permanent Antiheal
• Random Phighters
  • While the random Phighters bonus round is active, players are unable to exit into the Phighter select screen.
  • The limit of one of each Phighter per team is removed during a random Phighters bonus round.

Trivia

• Previously, Antiheal was a status effect that could only be applied to other players by Shuriken.
• The "random Phighters" bonus round is reminiscient of the Mix-Up Madness Phrenzy.
