Rocket Arena is a map in PHIGHTING!.

Overview

Rocket Arena is one of the first and most iconic maps in PHIGHTING! This map follows a 3 by 3 grid, with another smaller elevated platform on each corner of the grid, alongside a somewhat large gap between the center and other 8 platforms, which may cause some people to fall into the void if not paying attention enough. Only the platforms that are facing up, down, left, or right have openings to go into the center platform, although they are not needed as you can easily overcome the railings in any platform and head to the center platform anyways.

Gameplay features

The main gameplay feature that is used to spice up gameplay happens at certain intervals, of which are 3:12, 2:04, and 1:00. When these certain time intervals are reached the arena turns to night, with a 10 second interval before the main part of it starts (except for 1:00, of which the interval is 5 seconds). After this interval, for 15 seconds (or 50 seconds for 1:00) several decorations appear alongside conveyors (of which can change direction at 1:00). To list, the cube like patterns on the floor and the railings on top start flashing a neon rainbow, fireworks begin launching outside the arena and text scrolls from the sides of the outside raised platforms saying 'ROCKET ARENA'.

Setting

Rocket Arena is set over a large void with a grid of 3x3 platforms each connected by a bridge, lest for the central platform which is isolated from the other 8. On each corner of the map, an additional platform can be found raised above the others. This platform is only accessible via teleportation or high-mobility moves.
